State Environmental Planning Policy (Planning Systems) 2021

This SEPP contains planning provisions which:

  • identify State or regionally significant development, State significant Infrastructure, and critical State significant infrastructure
  • provide for consideration of development delivery plans by local Aboriginal land councils in planning assessment
  • allow the Planning Secretary to elect to be the concurrence authority for certain development that requires concurrence under nominated State environmental planning policies. 

This SEPP has consolidated and repealed the:

  • SEPP (State and Regional Development) 2011
  • SEPP (Aboriginal Land) 2019
  • SEPP (Concurrences and Consents) 2018
