Dry Rainforest of Mt Kaputar National Park, Deriah Aboriginal Area and Horton Falls National Park 2019. VIS_ID 5112

Dry rainforest and wet Sclerophyll mapping undertaken early 2019 by EcoLogical Australia, contracted by Northern Inland Branch of NSW NPWS. Mapping dry rainforest is a direct strategy identified in the Saving our Species (SoS) project for the Mount Kaputar high elevation and dry rainforest land snail and slug community in the Nandewar and Brigalow Belt South Bioregions. Mapping dry rainforest will help NPWS understand the potential extent of this Threatened Ecological Community (TEC) and better target survey and management actions.
