The average assessment days are calculated as a 6-month rolling average for the reporting period. A 6-month rolling average normalises impacts on the assessment days from outliers and has been used to report the departments KPIs externally on State Significant and Regionally Significant DAs.

State Significant Projects: Includes State Significant Development (SSD) and State Significant Infrastructure (SSI) applications. All modifications and applications with Independent Planning Commission public hearings are excluded.  Assessment days include only government days for certain stages, as set out in internal State Significant Precincts guideline. The determined applications are those with a decision outcome of either approved or refused.
