A Fire Management Plan was developed for Tarawi NR, involving the mapping of the reserve's vegetation, fire history and significant species. Also developed were mallee fire ecology guidelines for biodiversity, an evaluation of fire regimes, and the formulation of fire management objectives, strategies and operational guidelines. Vegetation map broadly based on Scotia 1:100 000 mapping
