Bingara CCA Zone 3 State Conservation Area Molroy Section vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in October 2009 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. (The Derra Derra Section was completed in July 2009). The Molroy Section is approximately 1km north of Bingara.

The vegetation of the Molroy section of Bingara State Conservation Area described and mapped (scale 1:50 000). Five communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These five communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform.
