This Review of Environmental Factors (REF) assesses the potential environmental impacts from the proposed Millfield Bridge Replacement over Wollombi Brook, near Cessnock. The purpose of this REF is to identify whether there would be a significant environmental impact as a result of the proposal. If the proposal is found to cause a significant environmental impact, an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) under Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 (EP&A Act) would be required. To help make this decision, the requirements of Clause 228 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulations, 2000 have been addressed.
