2010 NSW Population Projections (Interim Revision)

Data files and papers for the 2010 release of the NSW population projections. This was an interim revision of the previous projections released in 2008.

These projections have since been superseded. The latest release (At November 2025) is the 2024 NSW population projections, published in November 2024.

The 2024 projections are available at https://www.planning.nsw.gov.au/data-and-insights/population-projections.

Official NSW population projections are updated twice in a five-year cycle. The schedule for these updates is linked to the timing of Australia's census.
