This tool is designed to support the NSW Government Standard for Data Quality Reporting. It will guide you through the reporting questionnaire (of 25 questions) and generate a standard data quality statement. Depending on how prepared you are, the process should take about 20 minutes to complete.
The statement helps a user understand how a particular dataset could be used and whether it can be compared with other, similar datasets. It provides a description of the characteristics of the data to help the user decide whether the data will be fit for their specific purpose.
The data quality statement can be produced as an editable MS Word document or a publishable PDF document. It can also be output as in XML.
