Blue Mountains City Council Waterway Health Monitoring Program

The Blue Mountains Waterway Health Monitoring Program is an ongoing initiative by Blue Mountains City Council to monitor and share information about the condition of local waterways. Its purpose is to provide council, the community and other stakeholders with accessible insights into waterway health and accurate data to guide the sustainable management of catchments and waterways. The program has over 25 years of monitoring data collected at more than 60 sites across three core programs: ecological waterway health, recreational water quality, and freshwater crayfish surveys.
