Factsheet: Direct cross-examination in court of domestic violence complainants by alleged perpetrators

Explains changes to cross examination rules under the Stronger Communities Legislation Amendment (Domestic Violence) Bill 2020. People who may be domestic violence survivors will no longer be cross examined by the people accused of assaulting them
