Baselines for Forested Water Catchments in NSW

The Forest Monitoring Steering Committee commissioned the University of Melbourne to deliver baselines, drivers and trends of water quality and quantity in NSW.Find out more about the project here.This webapp displays the spatial outputs of this project.Model Information:This data displays the estimated Mann-Kendell trends (direction and significance) of water quality and quantity indicators at water monitoring sites at the outlet of catchments within NSW.Inclusion of data is limited to water monitoring sites in catchments more than 50% covered by forest with long term, frequent reliable data, and the available instruments at each site.These trends were estimated using a temporal regression including a linear trend, the flow effect, a seasonality component and a lag-1 autoregressive residual model for which water quality data were sampled at daily or higher frequencies. The trends were estimated using the full historical records for each water monitoring site, meaning that different water monitoring sites may show trends for different periods._______For a User Guide for this Webapp, follow this link:User GuideTo leave feedback on your experience with this web site or its data, follow this link:NRC Contact PageTo leave feedback on your experience with the Spatial Collaboration Portal, follow this link (account creation required) :Spatial Collaboration Portal Feedback_______This webapp and associated webapps are part of the Forest Monitoring & Improvement Program.Metadata
