Updated description of Re-offending statistics for NSW from
The NSW Reoffending Database (ROD) contains information on each person who has been convicted of a criminal offence in NSW since 1994, and provides information on: • the number of convicted offenders who re-offend within 2 years • the number of persons exiting prison who re-offend within 2 years • the number of persons convicted offenders who re-offend within 2 years by offence type - domestic violence offences, driving offences, violent offences and property offences. All statistics are available from 2000 to 2012, and include a breakdown by gender, age and Indigenous status.
toThe NSW Reoffending Database (ROD) contains information on each person who has been convicted of a criminal offence in NSW since 1994, and provides information on: the number of convicted offenders receiving a penalty other than prison who re-offend within 12 months, by gender, age and Indigenous status. 2) the number of persons exiting prison who re-offend within 12 months, by gender, age and Indigenous status. 3) the number of convicted adult offenders who re-offend within the same offence group within 12 months by offence. 4) the number of convicted adult offenders who re-offend with any offence within 12 months by offence.
