Updated description of Enrolment of LBOTE students in NSW government schools by SA4 groupings (2013-2016) from
**Data Notes:** * Primary support students are included in Year 3 to 6. Secondary support students are included in Year 7 to 10. * Students are counted as being of language background other than English if in their home a language other than English is spoken by the students, parents or guardians. * LBOTE enrolments for 2014 and 2015 are compared to enrolments (headcount) in March of that year. * Previous publications of the Statistical Bulletin compared enrolments in DoE regions. From 2014 these geographies have been discontinued and replaced with a geographical structure based on the new ABS Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS). Groups of ASGS Statistical Area 4 (SA4) boundaries in New South Wales have been combined into 11 groups for reporting and publication of Department data. * For more detailed analysis of students of language background other than English, please refer to CESE Bulletin Issue 8 - Language Diversity in NSW. **Data Source:** * [Schools and Students: 2015 Statistical Bulletin](https://www.cese.nsw.gov.au/images/stories/2015_Statistical_Bulletin.pdf "Schools and Students: 2015 Statistical Bulletin").
