RELEASE NOTE

Thank you for your interest in the Household Travel Survey (HTS).

The latest release of HTS data is 5 July 2023. This release includes interim estimates for 2022/23 with 12 additional LGAs to those released in 2021/22, as well as interim estimates for Regions and Six Cities. Final estimates for 2022/23 will follow later this year.

A revised dataset for HTS 2020/21 and 2021/22 is also included in this release, following a revision to the weighting methodology for the post-COVID data. If you have downloaded HTS 2020/21 and 2021/22 estimates from this link prior to 5 July 2023, we advise you replace them with the revised tables.

Further revisions may be undertaken on the HTS post-COVID data (since 2020) as we review other datasets to calibrate the travel behaviour post-COVID. Please check this page for release dates to ensure you are using the most current version or create a subscription (https://opendata.transport.nsw.gov.au/subscriptions) to be notified of revisions and future releases.
