The Northern Road upgrade at Cranebrook : review of environmental factors

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) proposes to upgrade about 1.86 kilometres of The Northern Road at Cranebrook between Andrews Road and north of Borrowdale Way. The proposal involves upgrading the existing two lane undivided road to a four lane dual carriage way (two lanes in each direction). The proposal is located within the Penrith local government area about 50 kilometres west of Sydney's central business area and about seven kilometres north east of the Penrith town centre. The purpose of this report is to describe the proposal, to document the likely impacts of the proposal on the environment and to detail protective measures to be implemented.
