Tugun Bypass: submissions report: supplement to the draft environmental impact statement, October 2005: volume 2: appendices

These appendices support the main environmental impact statement report for the proposed Tugun Bypass between Currumbin, Queensland and Tweed Heads, NSW. The route of the Tugun Bypass also includes Commonwealth land at Gold Coast Airport. The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) and the Queensland Department of Main Roads (QDMR) are the joint proponents for the Proposal. The proposed seven kilometre long route, between Stewart Road, Currumbin and Kennedy Drive, Tweed Heads, would predominantly follow an alignment to the west of the existing Gold Coast airport main runway and would consist of a four-lane restricted access motorway within median to separate north south traffic flows at a posted speed of 100 kilometres per hour.
