The mapped Offset Trading Groups are generated by a direct translation of the NSW State Vegetation Type Map (SVTM vC2.0.M2.2) according to the [Biodiversity Assessment Method](https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/-/media/OEH/Corporate-Site/Documents/Animals-and-plants/Biodiversity/biodiversity-assessment-method-170206.pdf) Table 5. \r\n\r\nThis map is updated in response to annual updates to the NSW State Vegetation Type Map or other relevant information.\r\n\r\n__Key Fields:__\r\n\r\n* 'OFFSET_TRA' \u2013 Offset Trading Group\r\n* 'SUB_NAME_7' \u2013 Sub IBRA Bioregion\r\n* 'OTGSUBIBRA' \u2013 A concatenation of the Offset Trading Group and the Sub IBRA Bioregion\r\n\r\n__New version C2.0M2.2OTG1.0__\r\n\r\nThis release includes an updated symbology with colours grouped by vegetation classes (supplied as a .lyrx file and through the REST service only).\r\nA modified sub IBRA region map has been used to correct topological errors and remove some coastal areas from the map that are unsuitable for offsetting.\r\n\r\n__Limitations on Use__\r\n\r\n* The map may be used as a guide to the occurrence and distribution of NSW Ecosystem Offset Trading Groups.\r\n* The map is derived from regional scale mapping of Plant Community Types and should not be used for local or property scale decisions. Planning or investment decisions at the property scale should be supported by ground assessment using the NSW Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM). \r\n* The map does not include Offset Trading Groups for threatened ecological community (TEC) Ecosystem credit types.\r\n* The map does not describe which Offset Trading Groups are currently in demand\r\n\r\n__Data Access__\r\n\r\nMap data may be downloaded as a zipped Geotiff file at the link below.
